Issah Mmari Wangui, professionally known as E-Sir, was born on May 20th May 1981 in California Estate, Nairobi, Kenya. E-Sir was a Kenyan hip hop artist signed to Ogopa DJs record label. Many of Silverstone E-Sir’s songs become very popular and trendy online with a great number of streaming and downloads on Boomplay.

E-Sir is considered by many as the greatest Kenyan rapper of all time due to his lyrical prowess and his mastery of Swahili language evident in his raps.

E Sir played a vital role in spearheading Kenyan hiphop into the mainstream, competing highly with international music. E-Sir’s talent and iconic discography has left a lasting legacy in the Kenyan music industry, cementing himself as a Legend. E- Sir passed away on March 16, 2003 when he was only 21 years old.

E-Sir rose to stardorm in 1999 after releasing his debut single "Jo" which was a moderate success Kenya. He signed to Ogopa DJs Record Label which produced his debut album titled Nimefika in 2003. Nimefika was well received spawning back to back hits which dominated Kenyan airwaves.
