Nandy won all Africa Music Awards in the best female artist in East Africa category in 2017. She was born and raised in the city of Moshi in Kilimanjaro Tanzania.

Career
On her career, Nandy began to sing when she had turned the age of 6 years. When she was in school at the age of 15, she managed to join the school choir which enable her to fully realize her dream by improving her prowess in singing.
