Janet Otieno is a singer and songwriter of gospel music from Kenya. She is based in Nairobi and is widely known for her 2013 hit song "Napokea Kwako" which featured Christina Shusho from Tanzania. Janet later released other songs such as Mtafute, Ni Wewe, Nijaze,Nitangoja,Tulia, Heshima, Uniongoze, Siri and Uzuri Wako. Her impactful music career has earned her numerous accolades and a dedicated fanbase. She has been twice nominated as Best Female Artiste in African Inspirational Music at Afrima Awards (2022 and 2018). Janet is married to Mr. Alfred Otieno, her husband of more than two decades and they are blessed with three children.
