Austin Mackay is a 19 year old, Singer/Songwriter from Newcastle, Australia. Entering the scene at only 13 years of age, Austin has gained years of valuable experience as both a writer and a performer, which to date has opened many doors for this young musician. His fusion of Indie/Pop/Rock music extends from his love for artists such as Matt Corby, James Bay and John Mayer.


2020 has already been one massive year for Newcastle-based, Singer/Songwriter ‘Austin Mackay’. From playing shows up and down the East Coast of Australia, to locking in supports for a bunch of established, Australian acts, including Kim Churchill, The Dreggs, Boo Seeka, and Diesel. To top it all off, Austin is bringing all of the excitement and more with the release of his Debut EP ’The Distance Between’, which consists of 5 tracks that are sure to take you on an emotional journey, filled with notions of both the high’s and low’s of his life and relationships. Austin plans to tour this brand new EP throughout Australia in 2021, so make sure to keep an eye out for any upcoming shows in your area!
