Richard Boateng known in showbiz circles as “DayTyme” started off as a young rapper from Darkuman, a suburb in Greater Accra. Who has now transformed into an artiste who experiments sounds and styles from different cultures.
Daytyme has had the passion for music since childhood thus listening to the likes of Lord Kenya, Ex doe, Ofori Amponsah, Sarkodie, Daddy Lumba, Efya etc. He therefore pursued his dream in music in 2019. He released his first single “Comeback” which received quite an audience.
This got him some recorgnition in the music industry as an upcoming artist.
He has couple of singles and a number of freestyles to his credit.
