Imanse, real name - Omowunmi Adefosudo, is an Afrobeats singer songwriter and recording artiste, whose artistic delivery of her music precedes her. IMANSE was born in Lagos, Nigeria and spent a good portion of her growing years in Lagos, Nigeria and the United States. Home for Imanse has always been music, from a very tender age of 10. Her inspirations over the years have been drawn from the likes of Beyonce, Asa, Alicia keys, Usher and Brandy.
Her genre of music is a fusion between Afrobeats, Afropop and Soul. Her quest to create a unique sound makes her a “treat” musically. Her catalog includes songs like “Ajala”, “I Miss You” with Skales, “Gbona” feat. Falz and Never In My Life. She also released an EP in 2017 called "HARD EARNED FEELINGS" which had productions from Cobhams & DJ Coublon. She was also a Headies nominee in the Best Female Vocal Performance category.
