"Tavish", a Cameroonian-American singer/songwriter born in Laurel, Maryland. He was born in the "M" of the DMV area but also grew up in his hometown Bamenda in his beginning years . He was always into video games and sports but music became a passion of his around 2019 a year or two after he graduated highschool. He was hesitant to start to pursue his music career due to his strict parents not believing it was a sustainable life style, they wanted him to be a Doctor or Lawyer. He would sneak in and out to studio sessions whenever he could have time, trying to hide it from his parents. He would still go to school and try his best while still writing songs to record when ever he could. He has many influences to his afrobeats music style; a blend of Afrobeats, R&B and dancehall elements, which is a sub-genre of music known as "Afrofusion" and alot of Hip-Hop. He believes all the people and songs he listened to growing up and till this day influenced his unique sound. His goal is just to be the best he can be and make his family and everyone that knows him either personally or just knows of him proud with his music or whatever he does. He is determined to be one of the greats in the music game after his first big song "Whine Am". Some how or someway he believes he will continue to make his way up and bring more and more people like you and me to enjoy all the vibes he has to offer.
