Fusing electronic dance energy with a live band ethos, Canadian group Neon Dreams absorbed sonic touches from across genres to create a blend of pop designed to stir emotions and inspire movement. Debuting as a quartet in the early 2010s, they issued their debut effort, The Last of Us, in 2015. The group pared down their ranks to a duo as the decade closed out.

Hailing from Halifax, Nova Scotia, the act was initially a quartet formed by rock-loving high school friends Frank Kadillac (vocals), Matt Gats (guitar), and Adrian Morris (drums), who later recruited Corey LeRue, an electronic-leaning DJ.
