Kilomera
Born in 1985 in Abia state in Eastern Nigeria, Kilomera is an upcoming artist with undeniable creative versatility and musical expression. Co founding the “Tyrant and Pope” music label Kilomera is currently Independent growing his expanding fan base with each release.
For Kilomera, music was always a part of early life, his mothers side of the family would play Makossa and Coupé-décalé a central African sound manly from Cameroon and the Ivory Coast.
On his dads side Kilomera was shown influences of Igbo Highlife, Hip Hop and R&B, with artists such as Nas, Tupac, Naeto C, Biggie, and DMX. As such exposing the artist to a blended influence of genres that have made their mark on his musical works today.
In his later teens, artists such as Jesse Jagz, Mode 9, Andre 3000 Jay-Z, Kanye, Eminem and Outcast would inspire the artist to start writing and begin making his own music, networking along the way with fellow artists and musical connoisseurs.
In 2021 Kilomera showcased his music to the world with his stunning debut collaboration single “Babalawo” an Afrobeat Hip hop classic that demonstrated the artists signature flow, style and artistry.
With a number of big projects lined up for 2023, Kilomera looks to continue making game changing progress within the industry including the release of his highly anticipated album project “Dreams Broken.” Already releasing three singles from the album with “Sorry” “2 Seconds.” And “Dialo, whilst also dropping the video for ”Sorry.”
Kilomera continues making good vibes and using his music as a universal building bridge of hope and unity.
