EAST COAST INDIE FOR A BLIZZARD OR BEACH.
What happens when you combine Maryland and New Hampshire reggae-rock? You get a long awaited East Coast powerhouse, Callisto. The band eagerly puts a modern twist on alternative music, with a party flare.

Vocalists Rob DiNanno (Formerly of Silhouette Rising) Howi Spangler (Ballyhoo!) and Brandon Hardesty (Bumpin Uglies) combine to form this East Coast supergroup. Other members include Rob's brother James DiNanno on drums, Dan Campbell on beats/turntables, and Jonny Bass on bass.

What you get here is a side project fusing together reggae/ hip-hop/ and indie. The first set of singles were recorded during a blizzard ridden January, in James DiNanno's Exeter, NH home. The home was turned into a temporary studio for a week- a la Dave Grohl. Billy Kottage of Reel Big Fish joined forces for the first two releases "Outlaw" and "Primitive Creature."

Whether you're sparking a joint to chill, or cracking open a beer to kick off the party, this is the perfect music to take along for the ride. For anyone that thinks the West Coast is the only place holding down the modern reggae scene...meet Callisto.
